A global provider of consumer products with over 100 quality brands such as Bionaire, Breville, Crock-Pot, Holmes®, Mr. Coffee®, Oster®, and Sunbeam® was notified by their colocation provider that their production colocation data center would be shutting down in less than 12 months. This data center was the most critical data processing facility in the Company and the migration would need to be executed with minimal impact to the business
This company needed a specialized and experienced firm to:
- Plan and execute a flawless migration of all applications
- Complete the migration activity within 9 months of kickoff
- Ensure that the customer didn’t incur severe penalties from their compute vendor for late return of critical asset-swap hardware
- Transfer project management knowledge to the client for future initiatives
- Decommission the old facility to avoid late exit penalties
